Professional & Technology Interests
Program Management and Project Management are areas of interest. I serve on the Executive Committee of the PMI Bangalore chapter as Vice President. PMI Bangalore chapter one the largest PMI chapters in India is one the fastest growing chapters in the Asia Pacific region. I have been actively involved in various chapter initiatives including the chapter’s annual PM conference PMPC 2007.
I am an avid technology enthusiast and excited by the possibilities technology and the web spring up every other day transforming our daily lives. I am actively involved in the various technology forums in Bangalore. Deeply influenced by unconferences, I have been actively involved in organising Barcamps in Bangalore.
I have been a Palm OS and Palm PDA/smart phone fan and enthusiast for many year. I started the Bangalore Palm User group (BPUG) many years back for Palm PDA users to meet up and share experiences.
I am passionate about using FOSS, specifically in the Enterprise and on the Windows Desktop! I encourage usage of FOSS tools at the work place in general and more specifically in the context of learning and knowledge management.
Other interests
I enjoy travel and travel photography. I am fascinated by architecture in general and Indian architecture in particular. I enjoy getting visitors to India to experience and unravel this great country.

Bangalore View – This is my photo blog. The photo blog intends to provide you vignettes and a window into life in Bangalore city (now Bengaluru) as I experience it. This photoblog has pictures I shoot with my Sony Ericsson 750i phone. My focus is on content and perspective than photo quality. Photo purists please bear with me, I use a mobile camera.

I have spoken in many forums on the following topics – Project Management Maturity Models (PMMM), OPM3, Wikipedia, FOSS based framework for KM, KM in the Key account microcosm, Moodle, Photo Blogging, Moblogging among others. I have run workshops in conferences on PMMM.
